Our Emotional Connection

Back to Navigation

background-910412_1280.jpg

Vibrations shaking our ear drums to the rhythm of the beat.

Skin awash with the ebb and flow of sounds

The heart beating in time with polyrhythmic melodies

Memories fade to visions

These are the emotional connections we have with each other as we listen to music

We hear it together but, understand it differently

The one freedom we have within ourselves is the secrets we hold for what each song means to us

The Simplicity of Music

Push the button to be transported to how I see, feel, and understand music.

First and foremost a song must have intelligent lyrics for me

The instruments must play in chaotic harmony for me

Then I categorize music by its emotional association to what type of thought process I want the music to evoke in me

Lastly I have my favorites that just vibrate through my body with no thought or awareness of the outside world just for me

Political Music
Feel Good Music
Songs of Love
Heavy Metal

Here is the music that falls on the deaf ears of the politicians and leaders of this world.  Any citizen that listens would agree with the messages that are being sung and we imagine that the words are powerful enough to change the world for the better but, unfortunately the ones that need to here the message - don't hear, don't listen, don't care.  This is the dilemma we as citizens have, for we have no way to force the politicians and leaders of the world to listen to what we all know and agree on.

Here is music that makes me feel good. There are times when I feel sad and will listen to things that help me cry for the release and therapy of it, but I wish to never be sad. So, I do not dwell and drown myself daily in the void of those songs. The best uplifting music is instrumental, for it allows my mind to be a blank canvas that records how the grooves of sound uplift my soul. Of course, songs with a positive message are always good for the mind and soul, reminding us that life is good and worth living.

What can be said about love? It is the most important word for all of our existence. Sadly, I find today's love songs lacking in emotion with an unhealthy view of what it means to truly feel love. They lack intelligence. Love is not a physical attraction or some promise of getting pleasure for yourself (which is why love songs today have degraded to songs of lust). Love is about giving to others. It touches our conception of our reflection and the perception in the belief that love is the ultimate good to share with someone and making love is a secret for the two that become one.

BECAUSE... THAT'S WHY!

I LOVE THE WORLD TOO MUCH; I CAN'T TAKE IT.

A true metalhead does love the world and everyone around them. We want to fight the injustice in the world because we are angry about the lack of people doing the right thing. We hate that evil ones that pick on the nice ones just to cause pain—a pain that was inflicted on them by their own family and adults who have gone insane and given up on trying to live. We pity the evil ones, and we want it to stop. Why should I have to live in fear of being beaten down by ignorant, mindless slaves to Satan?
